eLearning Project Management

There are many considerations and moving parts involved in the creation and management of each eLearning, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Designers, Quality Assurance reviewers, clients, deadlines, and budget constraints. This means that from the project kickoff to the retrospective, the team’s process needs to be well defined and structured, yet flexible and agile enough to work with any methodology.

In this 30-minute presentation, we will explore how to effectively manage these projects to ensure they not only come in on time and on budget, but also keep your clients coming back for more!

About the Presenter:

Melissa graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the University of Richmond with an early elementary teaching certificate. She taught elementary school right here in Richmond and focused on gifted education, STEM and twenty-first century skill development, by incorporating engaging technologies in the classroom and inspiring her peers. Before joining the team at Yukon, she held the titles of Senior Quality Assurance Analyst and Project Coordinator for an agile software development company. At Yukon, Melissa is able to combine all of her past skills to make sure everything stays on track. When she’s not at Yukon keeping ducks in a row, you will find her spending time with her husband paddling on the water, gardening, or simply enjoying time outdoors.
