  Jennifer Kennedy & Sandra McClain

  
  

  Jennifer Kennedy is a trainer and coach with over 15 years of experience in learning and development in the education technology, non-profit, and health care industries. Her expertise is in leadership development, creating engaging learning experiences, and communication. Jennifer is a credentialed ATD Master Trainer and holds an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation. She loves being outdoors, traveling, and has visited all 50 states!

  Sandra (she/her/hers) is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of speaking experience. Currently a Senior Learning Specialist with UPMC, Sandra develops learning opportunities for new and aspiring leaders and staff across the system. Previously, Sandra held roles as a senior program manager in workforce development as well as a staff development specialist in higher education. Sandra holds a MSHRM (Master of Science in Human Resources Management) in Organizational Learning, Development and Change Management and is a certified strategic human resources business partner through the Human Capital Institute.

  Strategic Partnering for Learning Success

  How can learning professionals move from the role of “order-taker” to “order-getter?” by cultivating a relationship-based strategic approach to consulting. Relationship-based consulting looks for ways to solve the learning needs of an organization through building trust and recommending learning solutions to fit their needs. 

  After participating in this workshop, you'll be able to:   

  • Identify critical organizational leaders with whom to develop business partnerships. 
  • Create a communication plan to establish and increase the organization’s utilization of learning opportunities. 
  • Develop a consultation process of ongoing conversations and collaboration to meet learning needs as they arise.
